Limerick’s Citizen Innovation Lab is part of an International Network of Living Labs
Living Labs are real-world environments for testing and experimentation where citizens, researchers, business and government can work together and innovate to address societal challenges like climate change.
Limerick’s Citizen Innovation Lab is a member of ENoLL , the European Network of Living Labs which connects Living Labs around the world. Living Labs are both a practice – a way of exploring how things can change – and a place where testing and exploration can happen. In the transition to climate-neutrality Living Labs have the potential to become a mechanism for change, where a city-as-living-lab can test and trial approaches before refining and implementing these at a larger scale.
