Thursday 25 May from 5.30pm to 8.30pm
Don’t have time to read the thousands of pages of the IPCC reports? In 3 hours, the “Climate Fresk” workshop allows you to understand the science behind climate change. “Climate Fresk” – sometimes called Climate Collage – is a collaborative workshop developed in France with a growing global following. Over 1 million people have participated so far in more than 50 countries.
Based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Reports, this 3 hour workshop uses 42 cards arranged in a cause and effect sequence to allow you to understand the essential issues of climate change. “Climate Fresk” makes it possible in a short time to understand the functioning of the climate system as well as the causes and consequences of its disruption.
This workshop is hosted by Gulfem Cevheribucak, a PhD Candidate in Politics and Public Administration, and Dr Annmarie Ryan, a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Kemmy Business School, both from University of Limerick.
