Climate Fresk

Climate Fresk

Thursday 27 April from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Don’t have time to read the 2000 pages of the IPCC report? In 3 hours, the “Climate Fresk”  workshop allows you to understand the science behind climate change.

“Climate Fresk” – sometimes called Climate Collage – is a collaborative workshop developed in France with a growing global following. Over 500,000 people have participated so far in more than 50 countries. Based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Reports, this 3 hour workshop uses 42 cards arranged in a cause and effect sequence to allow you to understand the essential issues of climate change. “Climate Fresk” makes it possible in a short time to understand the functioning of the climate system as well as the causes and consequences of its disruption.

This workshop is co-hosted by Dr. Sara Hannafin, Lecturer in Geography at University of Limerick, and Helena Fitzgerald, Research Fellow in the Department of Economics at University of Limerick.
